Filtech Carbon Cartridges
Sediment, rust, lead, and precipitated scale, iron, and minerals are often found in our water, and naturally accumulate in appliances and plumbing fixtures. Water itself can often have a chlorine taste and odor. Carbon filter cartridges address these problems. They allow for higher flow rates, increased efficiency, and cleaner, better tasting and smelling water. Carbon cartridges with tighter micron ratings can filter out common parasites, making any potentially infected water safe to drink. They also adsorb MTBE (Methyl tert-butyl ether) and certain other volatile organic compounds.
