Dust Collector Cartridge
Cross-Reference Request

Tell us what you have and we will identify the media, cross the part, and recommend either a direct replacement or an upgrade. Every question is optional. Fill in what you know and leave the rest blank.

The more you fill in, the better our odds of an exact match. Nothing on this page is required. Skip anything you don't know or can't get to, and send us what you have. Partial information is still useful.

Questions marked Key carry the most weight. If you answer nothing else, these six usually let us narrow down the media:

  • What dust is being collected
  • Operating temperature
  • Whether moisture is present
  • Any part numbers or labels on the cartridge
  • Photos of the end caps, gasket, and media
  • Direct replacement or upgraded media

When you reach the bottom you have two options, and you can use both:

  • Preview Summary builds a clean writeup of your answers on this page. Copy it, or print it and choose "Save as PDF" to keep a copy for your own records.
  • Send to Filtech emails everything to our filtration team along with any photos you attached, and gives you a reference number.

Dust Collector Information

Is there a nameplate on the collector that can be photographed?
Are replacement cartridges currently sourced from an OEM or aftermarket supplier?

Existing Cartridge Details

Check the end caps, inner liner, and gasket. Type anything printed or stamped, even if it looks like gibberish.
Are the cartridges installed vertically or horizontally?
Is the cartridge open/open, open/closed, or another configuration?

Application Information

For example: plasma cutting, bag dumping, grinding, blasting, pneumatic conveying.
How would you describe the dust? Check all that apply.
Is the dust considered hazardous?

Operating Conditions

Are there temperature spikes?
Is moisture, humidity, oil mist, or condensation present?Key Check all that apply.
Is compressed air used for pulse cleaning?

Performance History

What problem prompted this inquiry? Check all that apply.
For example: double the service life, drop the differential pressure, meet a stack test.

Media Identification

Has anyone inspected the media?
What does the media appear to be?
Can a small sample be removed for examination if needed?

System Requirements

Do you need the exact same cartridge, or are performance upgrades acceptable?Key
Permit limits, MERV rating, recirculation to the workspace, stack testing.
If you believe these are HEPA cartridges, where did that information come from?

Photos
