Revolutionary Two-Piece Design

The Twist-LOK Series is an innovative two-piece cartridge system that allows you to replace and optimize the first stage (pre-filter) without having to replace the second stage (coalescer). With traditional filtration/coalescing elements, both stages must be replaced together—often disposing of a still-viable second stage element. The Twist-LOK design delivers significant cost savings and operational flexibility.

Two-Stage Filtration System

JGCP - Pre-Filter Element

Stage 1: Outside-to-Inside Flow

The first stage pre-filter removes bulk solids and pre-coalesces liquids as gas flows from outside to inside. This stage handles the heaviest contamination loading and can be replaced independently when dirty—without disturbing the second stage coalescer.

JGCC - Coalescer Element

Stage 2: Inside-to-Outside Flow

The second stage coalescer removes submicronic liquids and low surface tension droplets as gas flows inside to outside. Ultra-fine liquids are coalesced into larger droplets which drain into the sump. This stage typically lasts 2-3x longer than the pre-filter.

Reduce Total Cost of Ownership

By replacing only the first stage pre-filter when needed while the second stage coalescer remains in service, operators can achieve significant cost savings on replacement elements. The Twist-LOK design also reduces maintenance time and eliminates waste from discarding still-functional coalescer elements.
