Tri-Shield JFS Series

Tri-Shield cartridges are filter separator and dry gas elements built on a patented depth media that blends proprietary Tri-Lobal fibers with cylindrical fibers. The result is three times the dirt holding capacity of a conventional depth cartridge at 30% lower initial differential pressure — longer runs between change-outs and less energy spent pushing gas through the element.

Tri-Shield Media Technology

Tri-Shield is the latest innovation in depth style filtration. The engineered blend of multiple fiber sizes and shapes, including the proprietary Tri-Lobal fibers, is specifically layered in an advanced spiral construction. That process gives Tri-Shield superior dirt loading and high efficiency compared with traditional depth filtration media.

Each layer performs a specific contaminant management function, which means the media can be engineered layer by layer even for the most challenging applications. The Tri-Lobal and cylindrical fiber blend, combined with the engineered gradient depth, gives the optimum balance of solid contaminant holding capability and liquid particle pre-coalescing capability.
