Steel Mandrel Advantage

Unlike foam or solid cast pigs, steel mandrel batching pigs are designed for long term, repeated use. The cups, discs, and brushes are all field replaceable wearing components, so when they wear out you swap them rather than replacing the entire pig. That makes steel mandrel pigs a cost effective choice for operations that run pigs frequently or at large diameters.

Available Models

BGC-2Sizes 2"–48"	Two cup batching pig. Carbon steel body with two easily replaceable polyurethane cups. Center rod type in 2" to 8", bolting pattern configuration in 10" and up. Can be fitted with a gauging plate to customer specifications.
BGC-3Sizes 2"–48"	Three cup batching pig. Same carbon steel construction with three polyurethane cups for enhanced sealing and product separation. Center rod type in 2" to 8", bolting pattern configuration in 10" and up. Optional gauging plate available.
BGC-4Sizes 2"–48"	Four cup batching pig. Maximum cup count in the BGC series for the most demanding batching and sealing requirements. Center rod type in 2" to 8", bolting pattern configuration in 10" and up. Optional gauging plate available.
