Features & Benefits

A self-contained media-filter mist collector designed for direct mounting onto a machining center or remote ducted installation serving one or more machines. Unlike SmogHog ESP units, the SHM uses a three-stage media filtration process built around proprietary PEACH coalescing technology in a tubular filter arrangement that allows captured liquid to drain freely with gravity. Variable-speed EC motor and touchscreen controls deliver precise airflow, low energy consumption, and tool-free filter change.

Three-Stage Filtration

Mist passes through three sequential filter stages, each catching progressively smaller particles. The first two stages are standard on every SHM; the third stage is optional based on application requirements.

Fine Fiber Aluminum Mesh Prefilter

2-inch aluminum mesh catches large droplets and protects the primary filter, extending service life downstream.

Primary Coalescing Stage

PEACH Saturated Depth Coalescing tubular filter or 95% ASHRAE-rated nine-pocket fiberglass primary. Saturates with mist, then drains by gravity.

Optional After-Filter

Optional 95% ASHRAE or 99.97% HEPA after-filter for the cleanest possible recirculated air in heavy-duty or critical applications.
