Solid vs. Inflatable

Smaller diameter spheres, typically 2" to 6", are supplied as solid polyurethane. Larger diameters, 4" and up depending on model, are available in inflatable type with a hollow core, allowing the sphere to be pressurized for a precise interference fit in the pipeline, which is critical for consistent meter proving accuracy and reliable sealing during product displacement runs.
