How It Works

The tungsten steel studs embed into and fracture coke layers and hard encrustations as the pig travels through the pipeline. As water flows around the pig body, it generates low and high pressure turbulence that continuously flushes the loosened deposits from the studs and carries them ahead of the pig, delivering a thorough clean in a single pass through even the most severely encrusted lines.
