Why Multi-Disc

Standard two or four disc pigs seal well enough for routine batching and displacement, but when product contamination, bypass leakage, or line conditions demand extra reliability, the MD series delivers. With four independent sealing discs separated by spacer discs and guided by front and rear guide discs, the MD pig maintains contact with the pipe wall across a wider range of bore variations and provides multiple sequential barriers against product mixing. The result is more consistent product separation and lower risk of bypass, especially in older or scale affected pipelines.

MDBSizes 2"–48"	Multi disc brush pig. Same disc arrangement as the MD with the addition of easily replaceable brush assemblies for combined sealing and cleaning in a single run. Models 2" to 8" use wire wheel or split ring brushes in center rod type, 10" and up use leaf spring mounted brushes in bolting pattern. Brush materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, and prostran for coated or plastic pipe. Polyurethane blades available in 16" and above. Optional gauging plate available.
