Important Note on Sealing

Due to their spherical design, foam spheres contact the pipe wall with approximately 15% of their diameter, significantly less than cylindrical pigs, which seal along approximately 1½ times their diameter. As a result, spheres are more prone to losing seal while negotiating elbows, tees, wyes, and other piping configurations. If you have not used a foam sphere before or are unsure whether a sphere is right for your application, please contact us to discuss before ordering.
